So, my Two of Us piece was "featured" as the second search result in that dA Notice about typography and you wouldn't believe the amount of feedback messages I've gotten about it so far. My inbox exploded (No, seriously. It literally exploded. So did my computer. And every light in my house. I'm typing this in a dark corner on the shards of glass that used to make up my monitor) with comments and favourites and it's amazing! I would love to respond to every single one but I just can't keep up! So, if you've favourited any of my pieces, watched me, bought a print or any combination of the three, thank you so much! It really means a lot to me and it makes me incredibly happy!

Your vector stuff is awesome! ^-^
One question, why are you making that kind of stuff in Photoshop, and not illustrator? Can you even make true vectors in photoshop?
In any case, I would HIGHLY suggest that you learn to use illustrator, and then your designs could be used on... anything, in any size. And it is completely editable indefinitely.

You're very welcome! That drawing of yours actually inspired me to stop being lazy and actually work on my Journey fanart so thanks for that! :D

As for my vectors... Well, first of all, I don't have illustrator! :dummy:
I used to have CS5 but my computer had some sort of problem and I had to completely wipe my hard drive and re-install Mac OSX, which resulted in the loss of Illustrator. Second of all, I have no idea how to use it! I originally downloaded CS5 with the intent of doing exactly what you're suggesting but after about an hour of screwing around with it, I couldn't figure out how to do anything. I know that's not really enough time and I would love to learn how to truly use Illustrator, but I haven't really tried. I'll definitely try it out again in the future, though!

Illustrator is actually quite easy. There are only a few main tools that you need to use. The pen tool, basic shape tools, the pathfinder tools (which help you merge, subtract, split shapes etc), and finally, transformation tools (bulge, pinch, rotate, etc). And since everything is continuously editable, making a mistake, or editing what you have already done, isn't a problem.
I could show you the basics, over Skype or something, if you'd be interested?
